Pulko Patent Baukasten - Reproduction
Pulko Bauhause style...
Enthousiast about the new findings of the Pulko patent, it's nice to re-create these Bauhaus style panels in real.
Since I'm less interested, in rebuilding the whole system, it's scaled to Mobaco, so baseplates & columns could be re-used. Besides that, the difference in bay size is only 2.5 [mm] width.

With modern DIY equipment, these panels are very easy to create.
Columns: square versus round...
Now I'm busy creating Pulko parts, I also like to know, how the round columns work. The rectangular columns from Mobaco make sense: They do not rotate in the square hole. But how to create 4 grooves into round column? So first needed to create a small jig, which holds the columns and then giving this a try:

Making 4x grooves on these round columns was quite simple, using a very simple jig.
Building with round columns was a different story. The columns tend to rotate very quickly, which is a very annoying. The original toy has deeper pockets, so most likely more friction and so, less rotational issue's...
Prototype: "The Bridge"
The big bridge, showed on the Leipzig Messe, still exists today and could be found somewhere in The Netherlands. So let's examine the bridge in more detail:

Now the details are known, the complete bridge could be drawn in CAD:

While virtualizing these constructions toys, now it's time to convert these parts to LeoCAD. (ToDo..)
Moving forwards to laser cut some parts, fitting again the Mobaco eco system:

Combined some of the bridge parts, on top of Mobaco ground plates:
- On the left side, the Pulko patent geometry is shown.
- On the right side, the 'produced' panels, from sets 1 & 2.
- Some of the bridge parts are reproduced, getting an idea about the size.
(I'm not interested in rebuilding this complet bridge, having the Caro bridge is good enough.) - Plywood is having a different appearance, then the original Pulko boxes... 🙁
Part library...
All unique parts from 1919 to 1922, drawn in CAD:

Missing: gables & columns from the new found Set-3 Caro. Maybe these parts will be added later.
